Technology VS. Experience
Dear Ernie,
My wife and I wanted to relate to you our experience with recently selling our home.
It had been our intention to market this ourselves using the services of two Internet websites, namely 'houseweb.ca' & 'welist.com' supported by our own Calgary Herald advertisement.
Given the prevailing market conditions, we were very confident of an early sale.
Despite this exposure however, we were disappointed to receive possibly 4-5 phone enquiries resulting in two showings that were fruitless.
Shortly thereafter, we received your mailed solicitation outlining a realistic marketing plan.
During our follow up personal interview with yourself, we were impressed with the commitment that you made to us that allayed all our realtor concerns.
Your marketing program included real estate print advertising, signage, open houses, team support at all timesplus other marketing material.
Subsequently, we were able to consummate a sale of our home in just over two weeks that still netted us the same amount as our original projection.
During this whole process and in particular through the delicate pricing negotiations, you conducted yourself at all time with the utmost professionalism.
You definitely conveyed the impression that you had our best interests at heart.
We attribute your expertise and skill to enabling us to achieve our desired financial result.
If there is a lesson to be learned from this exercise, then it is that new technologies do not necessarily replace the old-fashioned skillsets of highly trained and professionaly astute individuals such as yourself, Ernie.
It is thus with pleasure that we provide you with our personal testimonial to your efforts.
My wife and I wish you and your team all the very best in your future business endeavours.
Kind regards,
Tony & Colleen
